FieldHockey to Hit Songbirds Stage on April 18th

Fieldhockey

Chattanooga’s FieldHockey, is gearing up for an electrifying night this Saturday, April 18th, at Songbirds. Known for their high-energy performances and heavy sound, the band promises an unforgettable experience for fans of intense music and mosh pits.

Led by frontman Enon Harris, the band has rapidly gained momentum since forming in 2019. Originally rooted in pop-punk, their sound has evolved into a heavier, DIY post-hardcore style that blends aggressive riffs with introspective lyrics exploring themes like relationships, personal struggles, and growth. Their live shows are characterized by raw vocals and a dynamic stage presence that leaves audiences energized and emotionally engaged.

Enon stopped by the Hits 96 studio to chat with Gino D on The Afternoon Show. During the interview, Harris shared insights into the band’s journey and what fans can expect from their set at Songbirds. He also revealed that the band will debut a new song during the show and teased exciting plans for the future.

INTERVIEW AT 6PM

Looking ahead, FieldHockey has a busy summer planned. They will be performing at Summerfest, a major festival that showcases musical talent, and are also gearing up for an appearance at Warped Tour in November—an opportunity they see as a significant milestone for their career.

Harris expressed enthusiasm about the band’s upcoming releases, including their first EP, scheduled for release in fall 2026, and a new song debut at Songbirds.

Despite some challenges in securing consistent local gigs, Harris emphasized the importance of Chattanooga’s scene and how it fuels their passion. They’re proud to carry the torch for their hometown, spreading their energetic sound beyond the Scenic City and gaining recognition in broader markets.

Tickets for Saturday’s show at Songbirds are affordable at $15 and doors open at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come ready for a night of intense music and raw emotion. For more details about the show and upcoming performances, visit venue.songbirds.org.
