Fit For Fall

When it is warm outside it is easy to go the gym or to the park for a run, but as it gets darker and colder in the Fall season our motivation to workout may slip just a bit. Listed below are a few things you can do to keep up your workout routine as we head into Autumn.

  1. Get Outside. While the temperatures are cooling off, take this opportunity to get outdoors and do some physical activity like canoeing or going on a hike.
  2. Dress in Layers. If you are going to be outside later in the Fall season make sure you are dressed appropriately for the colder temps.
  3. Stick to a workout routine. Getting up in the chilly Fall/Winter mornings can be tough, but instead of hitting snooze, stick with your routine for 4-5 weeks and get yourself use to getting up and getting active.
