Fit For Fall
When it is warm outside it is easy to go the gym or to the park for a run, but as it gets darker and colder in the Fall season our motivation to workout may slip just a bit. Listed below are a few things you can do to keep up your workout routine as we head into Autumn.
- Get Outside. While the temperatures are cooling off, take this opportunity to get outdoors and do some physical activity like canoeing or going on a hike.
- Dress in Layers. If you are going to be outside later in the Fall season make sure you are dressed appropriately for the colder temps.
- Stick to a workout routine. Getting up in the chilly Fall/Winter mornings can be tough, but instead of hitting snooze, stick with your routine for 4-5 weeks and get yourself use to getting up and getting active.
