Food News: Cheez-It Opened a Gas Station with a Cracker-Dispensing Pump

If you just so happen to find yourself hiking through Joshua Tree in Southern California this week, and you’re craving something cheesy … THIS is your ticket.
For some reason, Cheez-It has opened a pop-up gas station in the area … but instead of pumping gas, the pumps will spray bags of Cheez-Its through your car window… for FREE!
It’s only open now through Sunday.
There’s also merch for sale, which is being described as “absurdly cheesy mementos” and “nostalgic Cheez-It Stop collectibles.” And of course there are boxes of Cheez-Its, including special flavors that AREN’T in stores.
If you’re in the area, the pop-up is at 61943 Twentynine Palms Highway, in Joshua Tree. It’s a 128-mile drive from L.A…. 168 miles from San Diego … or an easy 40 miles from the Palm Springs Airport.
