Psy released the song “Gangnam Style” in 2012. And if you believe in destiny, then his next big hit might just drop this year.
His new album is called “Psy 9th”, and it comes out next week on the 29th. And here’s where it gets interesting: Psy hyped its release with a video from 2013 . . . where he predicted he’d be dropping his next banger in 2022.
He said, quote, “I know a lot of you have high expectations for my next hit song. To be honest, I produced ‘Champion’ in 2002, and it took me exactly 10 years to produce a song that is more sensational with the release of ‘Gangnam Style’ in 2012 . . .
“I guess what I’m trying to say is, perhaps the next time you’ll meet a song like ‘Gangnam Style’ will be in 2022.”
