The Celebrity Beat…
New exhibits and park expansions are coming to Dollywood next year in honor Dolly Parton. For starters, there will be a new character in the Wildwood Grove area called The Dream Maker.
The Dream Maker and her Dream Wagon will embody Dolly’s passion for dreaming big and telling stories. The area will also get a new Tribute Center for fans to privately and publicly share memories of Dolly.
There will also be a mountainside waterfall installed outside of the chapel’s front steps. It’ll have a guitar sculpture and the chapel will get new stained-glass windows that show the changing seasons of the Great Smoky Mountains.
But before then, in the next few days the city of Sevierville will be introducing a walkable tribute through the city. It’s called “In Dolly’s Footsteps” and will highlight 11 different locations, like the Pines Theater.
