Here’s How Tom Cruise Reads Scripts…. He Doesn’t.

The Celebrity Beat…

With the number of movies Tom Cruise makes, he must read a ton of scripts, right?  Wrong.

Turns out he doesn’t read ANY.

He says, quote, “I have [directors and writers] read it to me…because I don’t want my ideas to invade it yet.”

He adds, quote, “I’m a popcorn guy.  I’m a meat-and-potatoes popcorn [guy].  Is it moving me, or am I invested?  Am I not invested?  Where am I engaged?  Where am I not engaged? That’s just who I am.”
