A company called Titan Casket created a pumpkin spice-themed CASKET for your loved ones who NEVER want to be without pumpkin spice.
In an online ad, they say, “Pumpkin spice forever. PSL season doesn’t have to end when you do.” And they direct people to PumpkinSpiceCasket.com for more information.
The pumpkin spice caskets cost $1,599. They have an orangish color on the outside, with a white interior.
But unfortunately, the casket doesn’t taste or smell like pumpkin spice… and there’s nothing special in the design. It’s basically just the exterior COLOR.
The company’s president says, “After 20 years, pumpkin spice has reached a point where there’s a collective groan when there’s a lot of marketing around it. And so we thought . . . ‘What if we had a pumpkin spice flavor,’ which ultimately is just our orange casket that we [always] offer.”
Naturally, people are having fun with this online.
One person said, “Does this casket come pre-seasoned or do I have to leave instructions for my family to include the spices themselves?”
Another said, “I’m not sure how you guys determined your target market, but you found me.” A commenter said, “This would change my mind about cremation.”
And one person said, “Wow thanks, my grandma blocked me after I sent this to her… can I get a discount?” Others asked that they add accessories… like a “cinnamon broom,” a pumpkin spice candle, and some cream for the inside.
