Public Enemy, Ice T To Headline Free Concert On National Mall

Ice-T and Public Enemy will headline The National Celebration Of Hip Hop, a free two-day concert at the National Mall in Washington D.C. on October 6th and 7th. DJ Hurricane will host a Beastie Boys tribute set and the rest of the lineup includes Kurtis Blow, The Sugarhill Gang, Kid ‘n Play, Soulsonic Force, Roxanne Shante, CL Smooth, Melle Mel and Scorpio, Peter Gunz, DJ Kevie Kev Rockwell, Mad Skillz, MC Sha-Rock, Busy Bee, Joe Ski Love, Positive K, Boogie Black, Mick Benzo, Gumbo and Donald D.

Regular tickets are free but VIP packages are also available for $399 to $999. “We are honored to continue to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop against the backdrop of America’s Capitol with a free event for everyone,” said Flavor Flav of Public Enemy. “I can’t wait to get on stage and do our thing.”
