Quickies: Hootie And The Blowfish, Babyface

Hootie and The Blowfish drummer, Jim Sonefeld has released a book about the band, called Swimming with the Blowfish. In it, he covers the rise, and fall, and rebirth of the band, as well as their spiritual path, addiction, and recover.  Lead vocalist, Darius Rucker wrote the forward and said, “The way he sees the world, is one of a kind. And his story, is one for the ages.”

Looks like more new music is on the way from twelve-time Grammy winner, Babyface. Through a press release he commented, “The process for it reminded me of when I did Waiting to Exhale and I’m excited for the world to hear it.” He recently signed with Capitol Records and will release Girls’ Night Out on October 29. Throughout his career, Babyface has produced and written 125 Top 10 hits, 42 #1 R&B hits, and 16 #1 pop hits.
