Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ Already The Top Selling Album Of The Year

After only a couple of days, Taylor Swift has already broken a few records (including her own) with the release of her new album, Midnights.
As reported by Billboard, it sold more than 800,000 copies in the U.S. on the very first day (Oct. 21) and that includes digital, CD, vinyl, and cassette.
Midnights has already logged the largest sales week for any album since 2017, which was also her album, Reputation.
It’s now the top-selling album of the year. She passed Harry Styles for that spot. Among other things, the new music set a modern-era record for single-week vinyl album sales.
It’s still a few days away before the chart is announced, but If Midnights debuts at # 1 on the Billboard 200, it will mark Swift’s 11th chart-topping effort.
