Weezer is set to release their next SZNZ EP called Autumn. It’s one of a four-part series that corresponds to the different seasons, but also stands for the different eras in the band’s history.

According to frontman Rives Cuomo, the music included is dance rock. About the other installments, he said, “‘Spring was the easy-breezy side of Weezer, nobody’s really going to object to that. Summer was more like ’90s alt-rock.” He says that’s not the kind of music that the band has traditionally been able to get away with, so it makes for a tricky situation.

Autumn is due September 22.
