Ringgold, GA – The owners of Boyd’s Speedway, a popular dirt track located in Ringgold, have announced that they have sold the property and the 2023 racing season will be suspended.

In a statement released on Facebook, the owners announced the news.

Boyd’s Speedway has been a staple of the local racing scene since it opened in 1985. The 3/8 mile dirt track has hosted numerous racing events over the years, including the annual Cabin Fever 40 and more.

The news of the sale and the suspension of the 2023 racing season has come as a shock to the racing community in Ringgold and beyond. Many fans and drivers have expressed their disappointment on social media and have shared their memories of attending and racing at Boyd’s Speedway.

The new owners, Brown Brothers Construction have not disclosed any details regarding the sale of the property or any future plans for the site.
