Chattanooga, TN – In an exhilarating turn of events, the Chattanooga Lookouts have emerged as the First Half North Division Champions, securing their place in the Southern League Playoffs for the first time since 2017. The team’s remarkable accomplishment was sealed on Saturday, following the Tennessee Smokies‘ defeat in the second game of their double-header. With a final record of 38-20, the Lookouts finished the first half of the season two games ahead of their closest rivals, the Smokies.

The Southern League Playoffs are set to commence on Tuesday, September 19, featuring a best-of-three series between the Lookouts and the winner of the second half in the North Division. Chattanooga will host game two on Thursday, September 21, and if needed, a deciding game three on Friday, September 22. The victorious team from the North Division series will have the privilege of hosting the opening game of the finals on Sunday, September 24.

Notably, the Charlotte Mabry Team – KW will present a dazzling fireworks display on Friday, followed by another spectacle on Monday. On Saturday, the renowned Zooperstars! will grace the event, ensuring an unforgettable experience. Additionally, on Sunday, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will be treated to a patriotic mini-bat courtesy of Dr. Pepper.
