In The Know with Gino: Children’s Hospital at Erlanger Receives New Pediatric MRI Machine, First of its Kind in the Region

Chattanooga, TN – The Children’s Hospital at Erlanger has recently received a new pediatric MRI machine, making it the only dedicated MRI machine for pediatric patients in the region. The new machine is expected to be up and running by early June, as the first phase of the new Children’s MRI and Outpatient Procedure Center.

The new MRI machine will allow for more accurate and efficient imaging for pediatric patients, with specialized features designed specifically for children. The machine has a wider bore, which will allow for a more comfortable experience for young patients, and also offers the ability to perform scans faster, reducing the amount of time children need to spend in the machine.

The addition of this new MRI machine is a huge step forward for their ability to provide the best possible care to their pediatric patients. They are excited to be able to offer this advanced technology to the children of our region.

The Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is known for its commitment to providing the highest level of care to children in the Chattanooga area and beyond. The new MRI machine is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to improve and expand its services for pediatric patients.

With the addition of this new MRI machine, the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is well-positioned to continue to provide the highest level of care to the children of the Chattanooga region and beyond.
