Chattanooga, TN – In a heartwarming collaboration, Project Pinball Charity Group and Classic Arcade Pinball Museum have joined forces to dedicate a Hot Wheels pinball machine to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Chattanooga. As part of their Pinball Placement Program, Project Pinball Charity aims to bring therapeutic relief and joy to children and families facing challenging circumstances.

On June 20th, just in time for the summer, the Hot Wheels Pinball Machine by American Pinball will find its new home at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chattanooga in Tennessee. This dedication marks the first stop on Project Pinball Charity’s 9th Annual Love Across America Tour. The partnership between the Classic Arcade Pinball Museum in Chattanooga and Project Pinball Charity began when the museum’s team approached the charity during the Southern Fried Gaming Expo in Atlanta, GA, expressing their desire to place a pinball machine at the local RMHC.

Since then, the Chattanooga pinball community has rallied together, raising donations and support to make this donation a reality. The Hot Wheels pinball machine will serve as a therapeutic tool, benefiting not only the children but also their families, caregivers, and hospital staff at the RMHC of Chattanooga.

Project Pinball Charity, renowned for its Pinball Placement Program, has been invited to oversee the installation of the machine. The charity has been instrumental in bringing the healing power of pinball to children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald House Charities across the nation. The team is excited to welcome the RMHC of Chattanooga into their program, as children and families will have the opportunity to experience the therapeutic benefits and distraction provided by a pinball machine.

Daniel Spolar, the Senior Founder/Director of Project Pinball Charity, emphasized the importance of giving back to the local community. He expressed his admiration for the RMHC of Chattanooga and their dedication to comforting children and families during challenging times. Spolar stated, “We wanted to do something special for them so, in turn, they could keep doing amazing things for others, especially in times like this.”

This dedication is significant for Project Pinball Charity as it marks the first pinball machine placed during their 9th Annual Love Across America Tour. Spolar expressed his excitement for the successful collaboration between the two teams and praised their hard work in ensuring a safe and memorable dedication. He added, “We are thankful for this opportunity to do such impactful things with pinball.”

Once the Summer 2023 Love Across America Tour concludes, Project Pinball Charity will have placed a total of 68 pinball machines in children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses throughout the United States. The charity remains committed to advocating for the rehabilitation and health of patients and their families.
