Australian police are investigating the sexual assault allegations against Katy Perry made by actress Ruby Rose. Victoria Police confirmed Melbourne’s sexual offenses team is investigating a reported historical assault at a licensed venue in Melbourne in 2010. Rose, 40, accused the 41-year-old pop star on social media Sunday, claiming Perry assaulted her at Spice Market nightclub when both were in their early twenties. Perry’s representative categorically denied the allegations, calling them “dangerous reckless lies” and noting Rose’s “well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media.” Rose provided graphic details of the alleged incident in follow-up posts and confirmed Tuesday she had “finalized all of my reports” with police.
