The “New York Post” claims single people are flocking to the cities that are hosting World Cup games . . . looking for sexy, rich, eligible, INTERNATIONAL soccer diehards to woo.
One 33-year-old woman said, “The dating pool just expanded so much more.” She’s looking to catch the eye of a handsome man traveling here for the games, or maybe even one of the athletes . . . at a venue, or at one of the parties.
And she isn’t putting all her eggs in one basket. She says she’s shelling out thousands to hit up games in Philadelphia, Kansas City, Boston, and Dallas. She has had this plan ever since she found out the U.S. would be hosting.
Estimates say that the World Cup is bringing 6.5 million travelers. And according to one study, about 39% would like to “meet local people” while they are here . . . and even more want to experience nightlife and attractions.
Another woman from Texas says, “This is such an exciting time for us single girlies. I’ve been updating my profile with new summertime pictures . . . photos of me in my Team USA and Team Mexico soccer jerseys.”
And another says, “Dating in your 30s is a drab. Getting on the apps, deleting them, then getting back on . . . but when you tie it to something fun, like the World Cup, it becomes a fun experience regardless of the outcome.”
