“Merry Christmas” from Ed Sheeran & Elton John

Ed Sheeran and Elton John call each other just about every day on the phone and last Christmas, after wishing each other a happy holiday, Elton asked Ed to write a Christmas song with him.  Ed says that day he started writing and came up with a bunch of “Christmasy” choruses. The two then met up in April and finished numerous songs together. One of them being “Merry Christmas“.
