Netflix is cracking down on password sharing. The streaming giant will send a notification to users in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Argentina if their account is being frequently used outside of their primary residence.
These users will be asked to pay an additional fee. Will this boost revenue for Netflix, or will these users say “adios“?
A similar move in March impacted users in Costa Rica, Chile, and Peru.
Is the United States next?
