Netflix Has Picked A Partner For Its Ad-Supported Plan

Netflix announced yesterday that they’re definitely rolling out an ad-supported subscription plan… and for some reason they’re teaming up with Microsoft to do it.

There’s still no word when it’s happening, but Netflix told employees back in May that it could happen by the end of the year.

Netflix said in a statement, quote, “It’s very early days and we have much to work through.  But our long-term goal is clear.  More choice for consumers and a premium, better-than-linear TV brand experience for advertisers.”
