Oliver Tree Was Killed in a Helicopter Crash in Brazil

Musician Oliver Tree tragically passed away yesterday morning in a two-helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  He was 32.  He would’ve turned 33 on the 29th.

There were six people on the two choppers, including an Argentinian YouTuber known as Gaspi.  There were no survivors.  One of the helicopters landed on the parking lot of a car dealership, which ignited at least 20 cars.

Police say there’s an investigation underway to determine the cause of the collision.

Oliver recently kicked off a world tour to promote his latest album. His last performance was on the 6th in Sao Paulo.  On Saturday he posted highlights from his time in Brazil.

You might recognize his songs “Life Goes On”, “Miss You”, “Hurt”, and “Alien Boy”. He was known for creating different characters to distinguish his musical eras, as well as his use of internet trolling and memes.
