Olivia Rodrigo Makes Her Tiny Desk (Home) Concert Debut
Why was Olivia Rodrigo performing at the DMV?
The Sour musician just made her NPR Tiny Desk debut!
Olivia Rodrigo has had an incredible year as a new artist and a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert is a perfect way to celebrate!
Olivia and her all-girl band take on new sounds in this stripped-down intimate performance at the DMV!! Which I think is an awesome choice, so fitting!
The 4 song set begins with a moody acoustic version of the pop-punk-ish single “good 4 u,” and then slides into “traitor” introducing it as her current favorite song on the album.
She performs her debut single, “drivers license” with just her keyboard and closed things out with “Deja Vu.”
Her Tiny Desk (Home) Concert dropped one day after she announced a massive 2022 tour in support of SOUR.
The tour kicks off on April 2nd in San Francisco and will visit more than 40 major cities across North America and Europe, including the Coca Cola Roxy in Atlanta on May 9th.
Tickets are on sale this Friday, Dec. 10th or you can listen to Hits 96 all this week and try to win them before you can buy them! Tune in all this week and whenever you hear an Olivia Rodrigo song, be Caller #9 at 423-642-9636 to qualify to win a pair of passes!
I will announce and select the winner at 6:30pm on Friday!
