Every once in a while, you stumble across a song from an artist you’ve never heard of, and it makes you stop and think, “Wait…who is this?”

That’s exactly what happened when I came across Mavie Monroe and her song “Crazy Day.”

Mavie is a Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter, and “Crazy Day” is actually her first released song. She wrote the track with some others and she also helped produce it.

But here’s where things get interesting.

After releasing “Crazy Day,” Mavie posted a clip of the song on TikTok and it started gaining serious attention. The song eventually racked up millions of views across TikTok and YouTube, turning what started as a debut single from an unknown artist into a song people were suddenly discovering all over the internet.
