On My Radar: The Beaches – “Edge of the Earth”
Sometimes a song doesn’t get the attention it deserves the first time around. Then, years later, something happens that gives it a whole new life.
That’s exactly what’s happening with The Beaches’ “Edge of the Earth.”
The song originally came out in 2023, but it’s suddenly finding a whole new audience after being featured prominently in the Prime Video series Off Campus. The song plays a key role in the show’s storyline, and the renewed attention has sent listeners searching for The Beaches all over again. In fact, “Edge of the Earth” saw an 888% increase in week-over-week streams following the show’s premiere.
And honestly, I get it. Here’s the clip from the show…
The Beaches have this infectious combination of rock energy, big melodies and personality that makes their music incredibly easy to latch onto. If you’ve already discovered them through “Blame Brett,” “Edge of the Earth” is a great reminder that there’s a lot more to this band.
If you haven’t heard it yet, this is your chance to discover the song that’s suddenly getting a second life. It may have been released a few years ago, but right now, it’s definitely On My Radar. Follow them on Instagram for more!
