Record Store Day with For The Record, Yellow Jacket Records, & Dallos Vinyl Love
This Saturday, April 18th, music lovers and vinyl enthusiasts are in for a treat as Record Store Day returns with a day full of exclusive releases, in-store specials, and incredible concert ticket giveaways.
To celebrate, Hits 96 has teamed up with local record stores For The Record, Yellow Racket Records, and Dallos Vinyl Love to make this year’s event unforgettable!
Early Morning Festivities at For The Record!
Starting bright and early, For The Record, located at Northgate Mall, will open at 8 a.m. with a special appearance by Gino D from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. He’ll be giving away tickets to see Noah Kahan LIVE in Atlanta at Truist Park on July 27th. The store has stocked up on at least one copy of every release, with a heavy focus on Taylor Swift titles. Customers can enjoy 20% off everything inside the store—excluding new vinyl, RSD releases, and electronics. FREE goodie bags are available with purchase while supplies last, and fun games will keep lines lively starting around 6:45 a.m.

Main Street’s Record Store Day with Yellow Racket Records
Later in the morning, Gino D will head over to Yellow Racket Records on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., where he’ll be giving away tickets to see Ed Sheeran LIVE in Nashville at Nissan Stadium on June 20th. Yellow Racket will open at 9 a.m., showcasing over 1,000 limited edition records, including more than 300 unique titles. The store emphasizes that all titles are available on a first-come, first-served basis—no holds, pre-orders, or phone orders accepted. Any unsold inventory will be posted online at 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 19th.
Throughout the day, shoppers can enjoy hourly vinyl sales, exclusive merchandise, and special collaborations, including the store’s own Long Play IPA brewed with Odd Story Brewing Co. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the shop will host a happy hour featuring half-priced drinks and 10% off all non-RSD titles.

Dallos Vinyl Love’s Record Store Day Highlights
From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Gino D will be making his way to Dallos Vinyl Love on Market Street, where he’ll be giving away tickets to see Olivia Dean LIVE in Atlanta at State Farm Arena on August 22nd. Dallos Vinyl Love will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering first-come, first-served access to a wide selection of RSD releases and special items. The store will also feature hourly vinyl sales throughout the day.
