#ROTC14 Rising Star: senses

Natalie was able to connect with one of this year’s Rising Stars for Running of the Chihuahuas, senses.

They were able to talk about the big event coming up on May 6th, how they got together as a group, their song, “Sleepwalking“, bad habits, pets, and so much more!

LA rock trio senses cultivate a unique pop-rock edge by utilizing dark synths, driving guitars, pounding drums and unique storytelling. The band – which originated when singer Madison Taylor met guitarist Josh Bissell and drummer Nick Sampson on Craigslist, encompasses the true meaning of “belt it out in your car,” priding themselves on their anthemic, relatable songwriting. They have a handful of tracks under their belt already, produced by acclaimed engineer Blake Harnage (Tate McRae, PVRIS), which have garnered over 400,000 streams. With a promising future ahead, the trio is back in the studio working on their debut EP with producer Keith Varon (The Aces, Nightly, jxdn, Christina Perri), expected to release in early 2023.
