“Shrek 5” Might Be on the Way with the Original Voice Cast

“Shrek 5” might finally be happening … with Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy returning as Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey.

The CEO of the animation company, Illumination, said that he and DreamWorks want to revive the franchise.  Quote, “We anticipate the cast coming back.  Talks are starting now … and every indication that we’ve gotten is there’s tremendous enthusiasm on behalf of the actors to return.”

Eddie has previously said that he’d return in “two seconds” to voice Donkey again, and would even like to see his own spin-off movies.
