Taco Bell is partnering with Olivia Rodrigo for a new Baja Blast flavor. It’s called “You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast.”
It’s a mix of the OG Baja Blast and pink lemonade, and will come in a custom cup with Olivia’s photo. It’ll be available nationwide on September 24th.
She says, quote, “One of my favorite drinks ever is a Mountain Dew Baja Blast, so I genuinely cannot believe ‘You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast’ is real.”
Over the weekend Olivia’s all-women music festival, Daisy Chain Fields, happened in Irvine, California. There was limited-edition merchandise and an immersive fan experience promoting the new drink at the festival.
At the festival she raised $10 million for women-focused nonprofits, and Melinda French Gates matched it, bringing the total donation to $20 million.
Olivia told the crowd, quote, “I really believe that giving women the tools to decide their own futures and live healthy lives free of violence and discrimination is the most effective tool we have at changing the world for the better… And I don’t know many people who represent that idea more than Melinda French Gates… She’s devoted her life to empowering women and girls that might have otherwise been forgotten.”
The $20 million will be split evenly between 10 organizations including Baby2Baby, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood.
Olivia also brought out Sarah McLachlan to perform “Building a Mystery” and “Angel”, which they dedicated to Dolly Parton. Then Alanis Morissette joined her for “Ironic”, and Stevie Nicks came out for “Landslide”.
