THAT WAS THEN: “Thumbs”

In 2016, Sabrina Carpenter was just 17 years old and still best known for playing Maya Hart on Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World.

But she was also beginning to establish herself as a recording artist. “Thumbs,” from her second studio album Evolution, showcased a young Sabrina with a more thoughtful, singer-songwriter-driven sound.

It was an early glimpse of the artist she would eventually become.

THIS IS NOW: “House Tour”

Fast-forward to 2026, and Sabrina Carpenter has become one of pop music’s biggest stars.

“House Tour” comes from her 2025 album Man’s Best Friend and represents a much more confident, playful side of Sabrina’s music. It’s a far cry from the 17-year-old who was just beginning her recording career with Evolution.

Ten years can make a pretty big difference.
