The FBI Warns Not To Use This With Your Smart Phone

The FBI is telling people to not use public charging stations in places like airports, hotels, and shopping centers. According to them bad guys have figured out ways to use public USB ports to “introduce malware and monitoring software onto devices.” You could be unknowingly connecting your phone to harmful software through the USB that can give hackers access to your device. There’s a simple fix for this: Use your full charging cable WITH the brick. There aren’t any issues with charging through a plug, it is only when you use the USB port. The FBI didn’t give any specific locations or cases, they’re just calling this a general advisory.
