- Popeye didn’t always get strength from spinach… in the early comic strips, he got his power from rubbing a magic hen.
- Cheez-It crackers are technically not squares, they’re rectangles: They’re about one inch by 0.95 inches.
- The Boston Tea Party in 1773 destroyed 92,000 pounds of tea, which is over $1.7 million in today’s money.
- The first school to use a letter grade system like we have today was Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts in 1887.
- Between 10% and 12% of the world’s population is left-handed.
