The Most Popular Style of Beer in America Is…

If you walk into any local brewery, chances are you’ll have a robust choice of multiple… IPAs.  But a new report claims IPAs are actually one of the least-popular beers in America.

A poll of American beer drinkers has found that most people prefer LAGERS.  Pale Ales are the second-most popular.

Technically, this INCLUDES the craft stuff we encounter, because the question was:  “Which styles of beer have you drank in the past year?“… not JUST your preference.

Pilsners are third, followed by Wheat Beers, Brown Ales, and Stouts.

IPAs are seventh… they were only more popular than Porters.
