Great music and great stories are happening right here in our own backyard!

This is The Proximity Playlist presented by WanderLinger, follow them on social media, check out WANDERLINGER.COM for a full menu and beer list, and be sure to visit them on Tuesdays for Poetry, All You Can Eat Wings on Wednesday, and Trivia on Thursdays! Plus, LIVE and LOCAL music every single weekend! Find them on Station Street next to the Chattanooga Choo Choo!

On this edition of The Proximity Playlist, we’re putting the spotlight on East Tennessee singer-songwriter Joshua Lee, the creative mind behind Blue Rhodes.

Blending indie folk, indie rock, soulful melodies, and heartfelt storytelling, Blue Rhodes brings a sound that feels both familiar and fresh. Inspired by life, family, the outdoors, and the everyday moments that often mean the most, Joshua is creating music with a story behind every song.

From his East Tennessee roots to finding his own voice as a songwriter, there’s plenty to discover about the person behind the project. We’ll also get into the music, the inspiration behind it, and what the future holds for Blue Rhodes.

Get to know the artist, hear the stories behind the music, and discover another talented musician making great music close to home.

Follow Blue Rhodes on Instagram, Facebook, and Spotify!

Please subscribe to The Proximity Playlist, support local music in the Chattanooga area, and make sure to follow along!

If you are a local musician and you would like to be featured on The Proximity Playlist… please send mp3 or wav files of your songs as well as any and all social media and video links you’d like to share, to Gino D at gino@wdodradio.com

Submissions DO NOT have to be clean edits, however if selected you will need to provide a clean version for radio airplay.

If you get selected for a spot, Gino D will be in contact with further instruction. All genres of music are welcome, but please understand Hits 96 is a Top 40 radio station so we are looking for music that will appease a mainstream audience. Any further questions, please do not hesitate to send them to Gino D. Thank you!
