The Weeknd is backtracking on his plan to retire his stage name and go by his real name, Abel Tesfaye.

At his show Saturday night in Stockholm, he told the crowd, quote, “I tested retirement a little bit, and I don’t like the way it feels.  Imma be here forever with you.”

The Weeknd previously said he perfected his alter ego and wanted a new challenge.

Quote, “I don’t think I can stop [making music].  But everything needs to feel like a challenge.  And for me right now, the Weeknd, whatever that is, it’s been mastered.”
