The Boston Red Sox are having a bad year, and this just had to make it worse: On Friday night, Raimel Tapia of the Toronto Blue Jays hit an inside-the-park GRAND SLAM against them.
It was really just a routine pop-up with the bases loaded and two outs, but center fielder Jarren Duran apparently lost track of it, and it sailed over his head to the wall. Then he made no effort to go after it.
Left fielder Alex Verdugo had to race over and snag it, but by the time he got it back to the plate, Tapia had already scored. The Jays went on to win the game 28 to 5!
