Gayle told Entertainment Tonight that Taylor Swift asked her to open for the Eras Tour following the “abcdu” singer’s performance at the Nashville Songwriter Awards.

Gayle told the outlet at Sunday’s MTV EMA’s, “She was just like, ‘You did a great performance — I’m gonna call you. Now I’m here, and I can’t believe it. I feel like I’m lying. I feel like this is a dream. I don’t know where I am. I don’t know what I’m doing.”
