If you’re a parent of teenagers, one of the best things you can do to save time is: Getting your kids involved with the MEALS OPERATION.

According to a report, 82% of families have a default “dining manager,” who handles meal planning, shopping, and cooking.  It’s a massive job that doesn’t get the FULL appreciation it deserves, even if you’re thanked at the table.

The dining manager spends about TWO HOURS… every day… on meal-related tasks.

Here’s how that breaks down:

Deciding what to make – 18 minutes

Creating the grocery list – 19 minutes

Shopping for ingredients – 27 minutes

Preparing and cooking the meal – 29 minutes.

Cleaning up – 22 minutes.

Of course, the dining manager CAN delegate… but 69% of dining managers believe it’s usually easier to handle meal planning and preparation themselves, than to pass it off to someone else.
