Utah Woman Charged After Allegedly Providing Alcohol To Children At Birthday Party

Kristina Lyn Tso faces multiple charges after allegedly serving alcohol to minors during a February 28th birthday party in Tooele. Police responded when a parent reported their 13-year-old child “smelled of alcohol and stated she was intoxicated” after attending the gathering. Officers found another 13-year-old girl staggering and smelling of alcohol at Tso’s residence. After securing a search warrant, police discovered an 11-year-old boy unconscious in the basement with a liquor bottle nearby. Between 15-20 minors were tested for alcohol consumption, with six testing positive. “Tso became very uncooperative and had to be forced into handcuffs,” according to the arrest report. Police interviews revealed Tso allegedly provided alcohol to the children and encouraged them to drink. She faces six counts of providing alcohol to minors, one count of child abuse, and one count of aggravated child abuse.
