According to a recent poll, 42% of Americans plan to purchase at least one gift for themselves this year, up from 38% last year. While most are spending under $100, some are splurging, with 46% of self-gifters keeping their purchases under $100, 32% spending between $100 and $200, and 22% spending more. The top items people are treating themselves to include nice meals, clothing, and self-care experiences like spa visits.
