Kraft Heinz Is Selling Candy Hot Dogs, Pickles, and Mac-and-Cheese for Halloween

If you’ve been handing out macaroni and pickles on Halloween, you’re definitely the weird one on your block.  But a little less so now… Kraft Heinz is selling CANDY versions of three of its most popular products for Halloween:  Kraft Macaroni & Cheese… Oscar Mayer hot dogs… and Claussen pickles. They don’t taste like the real products, they’re just gummy candy shaped like them.  The pickles and hot dogs are smaller than normal. Those two are new, apparently.  But they’ve been selling the mac-and-cheese candy on Amazon since last year. Variety packs with all three are hitting stores nationwide for Halloween, including Target, Walgreens, Family Dollar, and Dollar General. Walmart and Amazon have boxes of just the mac-and-cheese version.

MCDONALD’S OFFERS SWEET POTATO FRIES AT ONE US LOCATION: A favorite in countries overseas, McDonald’s has finally brought its sweet potato fries to one American location. The International HQ restaurant in Chicago is currently serving this sweet twist on the classic fry. Will they soon come to locations nationwide?

Costco Got Its Own Version of Monopoly, and It Promptly Sold Out

A limited-edition Costco version of Monopoly was announced 10 days ago, and it’s already sold out online. They were selling them for $45, and people are now hawking them on eBay for twice that. It’s like all the other special editions Monopoly does.  Same game, different details, and they’re all Costco-themed. The Chance and Community Chest cards look like Costco membership cards.  And instead of Boardwalk and Park Place, all the properties are Costco locations around the world. The game pieces are different too, so no thimble or boot.  The six tokens are a shopping cart, an employee name badge, a giant teddy bear, a pallet mover, a slice of pizza from the food court, and a hot-dog-and-soda combo. Some of their physical locations might still have them in stock.  The cheapest we’ve seen on eBay is around $70.
