John Stamos Once Caught His Girlfriend in Bed with another 80’s TV Star

John Stamos once caught his girlfriend in bed with another man… but it took an assist from Elton John before he realized who it was.
Here’s the deal:
Back in the ’80s, John briefly dated model and actress Teri Copley. But one time when he was on the road, she started kind of ghosting him. So when he got back, he went to her house.
In the driveway, he saw a 1957 Porsche, with a hairbrush, keys, and boxing gloves in it. There was also a poster of Teri NAKED, with half her butt showing. It was a poster John had never seen.
He couldn’t get into her house, and all the lights were off, so he checked the guesthouse in the backyard. The door was slightly open so he peeked inside and saw, quote, “four feet protruding” from under a blanket.
He couldn’t tell who the guy was, but he was angry, confused, and holding back tears. Then he left… but not before stealing the naked poster from the Porsche. Teri had actually signed it… to a guy named “Tony“.
This is where Elton John comes in. On the way home, the song “Tiny Dancer” came on. And of course, we’ve all misheard the lyrics as “Hold me closer, TONY DANZA.”
And that’s when it hit John: His girlfriend had cheated on him with Tony Danza. And now you know who’s the REAL boss.
