Chattanooga, TN – In a heartwarming display of gratitude, NewsChannel 9, FOX Chattanooga, and The CW Chattanooga are gearing up to host the much-anticipated First Responders Salute on Wednesday, October 25th. This annual event serves as a powerful “Thank you!” to the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to safeguarding Chattanooga and the surrounding community.

Starting at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., a special broadcast will be aired across the local channels, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the tireless efforts of the first responders and frontline health workers. The day promises to be a celebration of their unwavering commitment and selfless service.

Now in its fifth year, the event will be held at the First Horizon Pavilion, where all local first responders are invited to partake in a day filled with gratitude and camaraderie. The organizers, along with station staff and sponsors, are pulling out all the stops to make this day memorable.

The festivities will kick off with a wholesome breakfast served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., ensuring everyone starts their day on a positive note. Following the morning meal, a hearty lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., allowing the first responders to relish delicious food and relax in the company of their fellow community heroes.

A unique aspect of this event is the organizers’ request for all first responders to wear their uniforms or present their badges. This simple gesture ensures that these dedicated individuals can enjoy their meals as tokens of appreciation for their courageous service.
