East Ridge Gears Up for Inaugural Community Thanksgiving Celebration

East Ridge, TN – With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the City of East Ridge is extending a warm invitation to all community members to join its first-ever Community Thanksgiving event on Wednesday, November 22nd. Seating is still available for those eager to partake in this festive occasion at the East Ridge Community Center located at 1515 Tombras Avenue.
A standout feature of this celebration is its accessibility, as there will be no charge for attendees who wish to indulge in the traditional and delicious Thanksgiving feast while fostering a sense of community and fellowship.
To ensure a seamless experience for all participants, the city has organized the event into three convenient time-blocks:
- The first block will run from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- The second block will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
- The third block will be from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Pre-registration is mandatory for attendance, and the city encourages early sign-ups as the registration window is open only until November 15th or until each time slot is full. The City of East Ridge expresses its gratitude to several local partners whose collaboration has been instrumental in turning this dream of a Community Thanksgiving into a reality. The East Ridge Council of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Craft Axe East Ridge, Action Church, Fearless Church, East Ridge Food Pantry, Hampton Inn East Ridge, Family Concessions, and Buddy’s BBQ East Ridge have played key roles in bringing the community together for this special occasion.
