45% of People Would Bail on the Holidays to Take a Solo Vacation

Three years ago . . . in the heart of the pandemic . . . everyone pretended to be upset about not being able to get together with extended family for the holidays.  Now, we are back to letting our TRUE feelings be known.

In a new survey, 45% of Americans would bail on holiday gatherings with family and friends to take a vacation SOLO.  So almost HALF of us.

Instead, 63% of people say they’ll be traveling WITH family.  Most people will have their kids and partner in tow, some will have other family members along.

77% of Americans say that, by the time the holidays roll around, they’re going to NEED a vacation . . . and 27% say their idea of a “vacation” is NOT traveling with family.  In fact, 49% of people anticipate needing a break from their partner . . . and 46% think they’ll need a break from their kids.

And, if given the choice, more people would prefer taking a vacation OVER receiving physical gifts to unwrap.
