If you’ve had a chance to catch “Squid Game: The Challenge” on Netflix, you’ve probably noticed how it closely follows the “Squid Game” series… minus all the KILLING, of course.
It’s a reality show, where 456 contestants are competing for $4.56 MILLION.
Well, it didn’t take too long for two contestants to lawyer-up and SUE for on-set injuries. They claim they suffered hypothermia and nerve damage as a result of poor safety standards on set.
For reference, filming took place last January in Bedford, England.
Apparently, it was REALLY cold during the filming of the first game, “Red Light Green Light“, where contestants have to stand still when a doll stops singing…or I guess you could say…they FREEZE.
The game took up to SEVEN hours for some contestants to complete because footage had to be examined frame-by-frame to spot who needed to be kicked out.
A spokesperson for the show says they haven’t seen a lawsuit yet.
The next four episodes come out on Wednesday, and the finale airs a week after on December 6th.
