For today’s “In The Know with Gino”

In a bid to celebrate the grand opening of their new MAC C.A.R.E.S. Center, McKamey Animal Center is inviting all Hamilton County residents and their beloved pets to a FREE vaccine and microchip clinic at their satellite location on Saturday, January, 27th, 2024. This community-driven event aims to promote the health and well-being of pets while fostering a sense of responsibility among pet owners.

The event will feature a range of complimentary services, including Rabies and DHPP/FVRCP vaccines, microchips, city licenses, and pet ID tags. Notably, all Chattanooga, Red Bank, and Lakesite city residents will receive FREE pet licenses if their pets are altered (spayed/neutered). For those whose pets are not altered, city licenses will be available for purchase. Residents outside of these areas but within Hamilton County are encouraged to connect with HES to acquire their pet’s annual license.

Unfortunately, Bordetella vaccines will not be available at this clinic, but attendees can take advantage of the various other services offered. The MetMin Impact Hub at 4001 Rossville Boulevard, Chattanooga, TN 37407, will be the venue for this special clinic, and the doors will be open from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The pop-up clinic is exclusively for dogs and cats, with all services provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. This event is an excellent opportunity for pet owners in Hamilton County to ensure their furry companions receive essential vaccinations and identification measures.

In addition to this off-site clinic, McKamey Animal Center conducts weekly on-site vaccine and microchip clinics. Pet owners can find more information about these services and stay updated on future events by visiting the official website at mckameyanimalcenter.org.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for this exciting opportunity to prioritize the health and well-being of their four-legged family members. The Mckamey Animal Center team looks forward to welcoming the community at the MAC C.A.R.E.S. Center grand opening event.
