The Afternooners are a five piece alternative rock/jam band with deep roots in funk, R&B, & reggae. Improvisation, high energy performance & fun are guaranteed, as these guys never play the same show twice. Each & every song will take you on a magical journey through different eras, styles, & vibes. After recently playing Riverbend and Chattanooga Motorcar Fest and opening for acts such as Dopapod and Cherub, these guys are ready to take on the next challenge. They have since the recording of their 2021 debut Boston album, “Peace & Panic”, the band has become a well oiled machine & their sophomore album is almost complete & soon to be unveiled to the world.”
