Chattanooga and Hamilton County are abuzz with excitement as they prepare to celebrate one of their own, the renowned artist Usher. On April 20th, the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County will jointly present the multi-talented musician with the “Key to the City” in a grand event titled “Coming Home: a Celebration of Usher.”

The event is set to take place at the prestigious McKenzie Arena, and gates will open to the public at 2:00 pm ET. The festivities promise to be a spectacular homage to Usher, showcasing the immense pride that the city holds for its local talent.

Usher’s electrifying performance during the iconic Super Bowl halftime was a moment of immense pride for Chattanooga. As a city that consistently produces remarkable talent, Usher stands as a shining example of Chattanooga’s cultural richness and artistic prowess.

We know as a smaller city we punch way above our weight when it comes to talent our city produces, and Usher is one of the finest examples of that talent,” stated a Facebook post  from Mayor Tim Kelly. “He’s going to feel the love when he comes home on April 20th.”

A limited number of FREE tickets for the event will be available while supplies last. Interested attendees are encouraged to claim their tickets in advance starting on Friday April 12th at 10:00 am via GOMOCS.COM. This celebration promises to be an unforgettable experience, bringing together the community in a joyous tribute to one of its most celebrated sons.
