The Creative Discovery Museum is set to unveil its latest interactive exhibit, “Wallace & Gromit: Get Cracking,” tomorrow, May 25th. Designed for children ages 3-9, the exhibit promises a fun-filled experience with a variety of STEM-based problem-solving activities, including an exciting rocket blast-off adventure.
Visitors to the exhibit will be transported to the charming home of Wallace, the cheese-loving inventor, and his loyal and intelligent dog, Gromit, in northern England. Youngsters can immerse themselves in Wallace’s world by launching a rocket to the moon, firing the porridge cannon, fixing the broken Autochef, designing their own ingenious contraptions, and taking a spin in Preston’s truck.
This innovative exhibit is designed to build and enhance problem-solving skills through playful and engaging STEM activities. By participating in these hands-on experiences, children will be encouraged to think creatively and develop critical thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment.
This exhibit not only offers a delightful experience for children but also integrates educational components that are essential for early development in science, technology, engineering, and math.
A special feature of the exhibit is the “tot spot,” a designated area specifically designed for children under the age of three, ensuring that even the youngest visitors can join in the fun.
“Wallace & Gromit: Get Cracking” will be available for visitors from May 25th through Sunday, September 8th. The Creative Discovery Museum invites families to step into the imaginative world of Wallace and Gromit and embark on a journey of discovery, creativity, and learning.
