Richard Simmons’ cause of death has been revealed. His brother Lenny issued a statement yesterday, saying it was, quote, “accidental due to complications from recent falls and heart diseases as a contributing factor.”

He added that toxicology tests were negative, except for PRESCRIBED medication Richard was taking.

Lenny also thanked fans for, quote, “their outpouring of love and support during this time of great loss.”

Richard died July 13th, a day after his 76th birthday.
